Job summary

Volvo Group Australia is seeking a Parts Interpreter at Volvo Commercial Vehicles in Sydney West to provide efficient after-sales service by identifying, sourcing and selling truck and bus parts to customers. Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will operate within a 12-person Parts team and collaborate across the wider workshop.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, time prioritisation, and strong parts knowledge, with opportunities for career growth and flexible work arrangements

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Strong Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• Ability to participate in a rotating roster to work Saturday shifts and be on call for parts supply.

• Perform parts warehousing tasks, including sorting and ordering.
• Raise vendor purchase orders and maintain documentation.

What you will do

Your future team

Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will work in a team of 12 Parts Interpreter’s and 1 Storeperson. The Parts team pride themselves on running a quality and highly efficient operation, in a supportive team environment. The greater VCV Blacktown Workshop team is made up of Mechanics, Auto-Electricians, Trades Assistants, Apprentices, Service Advisor’s and Costing Clerk’s.
