Job summary

Scania Australia in Sydney is seeking a customer-focused Parts Advisor to support workshop operations and keep customers moving. You will build strong relationships with customers and suppliers, provide expert parts advice, process enquiries and orders, and work closely with the Workshop team to ensure parts availability.

Qualifications

  • Experience in automotive parts, customer service, retail automotive, logistics, or a related industry.
  • Strong customer-first mindset with the ability to build long‑term relationships

  • Excellent communication with customers, technicians, suppliers and colleagues
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with customers, workshop teams and suppliers
  • Identify customer needs and provide expert parts advice and solutions
  • Manage enquiries, quotations and orders from start to finish
  • Negotiate and resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively
  • Work closely with the Workshop team to ensure parts availability and minimise downtime
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure parts are stored and managed correctly
  • Process invoices, payments and associated documentation accurately
