Job summary

Scania Australia is seeking a proactive parts advisor for our Prestons team to strengthen customer relationships, provide expert parts solutions and drive efficient workshop support.

You will engage with customers, technicians and suppliers to ensure parts availability, timely quotations and smooth order fulfilment, contributing to higher satisfaction and ongoing business growth.

Qualifications

  • Experience in automotive parts or related field preferred.
  • Strong customer-first mindset and ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Confidence influencing outcomes and handling difficult conversations professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with customers, workshop teams and suppliers.
  • Identify customer needs and provide expert parts advice and solutions.
  • Manage enquiries, quotations and orders from start to finish; negotiate and resolve concerns.
  • Work closely with the Workshop team to ensure parts availability and minimise downtime.
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure parts are stored and managed correctly.
  • Process invoices, payments and associated documentation accurately.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers, technicians, suppliers and colleagues
