Approach Consulting Pty in Canberra is inviting Senior Associates, Special Counsels, or Partners to take ownership of their practice within an established firm. This role offers autonomy to build a client base and manage matters under a flexible revenue-sharing model ranging from 50/50 to 70/30, with possible base salary ramp-up to help you get started.

We have partnered with an established, leading Canberra law firm offering a genuinely different approach to legal practice. This is an opportunity to take ownership of your own practice, develop your client base and benefit from a flexible revenue-sharing model, without the financial and operational burden of establishing an independent firm.

With revenue splits ranging from 50/50 through to 70/30, depending on the arrangement, this opportunity offers an attractive alternative to traditional salaried positions and conventional partnership structures. 'Ramp up' with a base salary can also be considered to ensure you have the runway required to get going.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity for an established practitioner who wants greater control over their career, clients and financial outcomes.

You'll have the autonomy to manage and grow your own practice, supported by an established firm with an existing market presence, professional infrastructure and administrative support.

Whether you have an established client following or are looking to develop your own practice, there is flexibility to structure an arrangement that reflects your experience, practice area and business development capability.

The firm is interested in speaking with experienced practitioners across:

• Employment Law: Workplace relations, employment disputes, advisory and general employment matters.
• Property & Commercial: Commercial and residential property, leasing, conveyancing, commercial transactions and general business advisory.

About You

We are interested in speaking with established lawyers from Senior Associate through to Partner level who are looking for a different approach to practising law.

• The confidence and capability to independently manage client relationships and matters.
• A commercial mindset and an interest in developing and growing a practice.
• Strong communication, relationship management and business development skills.
• A desire for greater autonomy, flexibility and control over your earning potential.
