Job summary

Vetlink in the Blue Mountains seeks a weekend veterinarian for after-hours emergencies. Work Saturdays 12 pm-6 pm, Sundays 10 am-6 pm, plus on-call for in-patients on both nights. Sole charge with on-site nurse support; experienced vets available for case support.

A growing after-hours small animal emergency clinic is seeking a weekend vet to work at their practice in the beautiful Blue Mountains, just 90-minutes from Sydney.

The weekend vet roster would see the successful vet work Saturdays (12 pm -6 pm) and Sundays (10 am – 6 pm) plus on-call for in-patients on both Saturday and Sunday nights.

Patients hospitalised overnight receive designated nurse checks. Vets are on-call for the deterioration of a hospitalised patient. Patients requiring continuous overnight monitoring are referred.

Applicants must be comfortable with sole charge. The successful applicant will be supported by on-site vet nurses. There are other senior vets available for case support.
