Job description

An experienced veterinarian is required to join a growing small animal practice on the Central Coast of New South Wales.

This is a part-time role, working approximately three shifts per week. The roster can be flexible to accommodate individual availability alongside clinic requirements, helping to support a sustainable balance between work and life outside the practice.

This role would suit a vet who values high-quality medicine, collaborative case management and being part of a team where people share ideas, support one another and genuinely enjoy working together.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years’ experience and be comfortable across general practice, with a strong commitment to excellent patient and client care.

Attitude, integrity and a willingness to contribute positively to the team are particularly important.

The hospital is modern and well equipped, with digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, in-house IDEXX laboratory equipment, multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring, an endoscope, dedicated surgical suite and fully equipped treatment area. The caseload is interesting and varied, with opportunities to work up cases, perform surgery and build lasting relationships with established clients.

You will work alongside experienced veterinarians, skilled veterinary nurses who are encouraged to work to their full scope, and an experienced reception team. There is a strong emphasis on collaboration, regular case discussions and sharing knowledge, with mentoring available from experienced vets.
