Qualifications

• Coordination experience in music or performing arts.
• Experience in a school-based music/performing arts setting.
• Familiarity with AMEB, ANZCA, and Trinity exam bodies.
• Experience supporting scholarship recipients/high-performance students.
• Proven pedagogical and performance credentials.
• Extensive ensemble leadership experience.
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative mindset.
• Budget allocation planning/monitoring.
• Understanding of child safety, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Teach classroom instrumental music to Middle and Senior School students.
• Coordinate and administer the co-curricular Strings Programme across campuses.
• Lead, coordinate and deliver internal school performances.
• Prepare students for AMEB/Senior music subjects (VCE/VET & IB).
• Schedule rehearsals, ensembles, lessons and accompanists across campuses.
• Develop and coordinate repertoire for concerts and school events.
• Manage budget allocation for the instrument family and resources.
• Recruit, induct and support specialist music tutors.
• Liaise with Head of Co-curricular Music and other coordinators to ensure cohesive offering.
