Geelong Grammar School invites applications for a part-time fixed-term role as Coordinator of Keyboard and Accompaniment and Contemporary Music. You will teach instrumental music to Middle and Senior School students and coordinate the co-curricular Keyboard and Accompaniment Programme across campuses.

The successful candidate will organise rehearsals, oversee instrument maintenance, prepare students for AMEB/ABRSM boards where relevant, manage the music budget and contribute to the School’s

• Teach one or more instruments through individual or group lessons with loading dependent on student enrolment
• Teach ensembles as part of the Ensemble Programme, including the Middle School Music Programme
• Lead and coordinate internal school performances across campuses
• Prepare students for AMEB/ANZCA/Trinity examinations and for VCE/VET & IB Music
• Oversee instrument maintenance, purchases, hires and repairs
• Coordinate rehearsals, lessons and accompanist scheduling across campuses
• Assist with budget development and monitoring for the instrument family
• Collaborate with Head of Co-curricular | Music and other coordinators to ensure cohesive programme delivery
• Maintain and develop the School’s music curriculum and performance calendar
• Support student leadership and scholarship recipients in music
