Job summary

The Springfield Anglican College invites applications for an Upper Strings Instrumental Music Teacher to join our Instrumental Music Program from Term 1, 2027. This permanent part-time role is 0.2 FTE, with a casual day per week available.

Teaching will primarily occur on the Primary Campus for Year 2 students, with optional casual lessons on the Secondary Campus. Ideal candidates will be passionate about music education, able to teach individual and group lessons, direct ensembles, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Music and/or relevant qualifications and experience.
• Experience teaching individual and group lessons.
• Experience directing ensembles and leading a co-curricular music program.

Responsibilities

• Teach students on the Primary Campus from Year 2 and occasional casual lessons on the Secondary Campus.
• Lead an ensemble and support the College's co-curricular music program.
• Involve hours outside of school hours as required.
