Qualifications

• Coordination experience in music and/or performing arts is essential.
• Experience in a school-based music or performing arts setting is required.
• Familiarity with AMEB, ANZCA, and Trinity examination bodies is preferred.
• Experience supporting scholarship recipients and high-performing students is valued.
• Proven pedagogical and performance credentials are expected.
• Extensive ensemble leadership experience is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset are essential.
• Budget allocation preparation and monitoring experience is needed.
• Solid understanding of child safety, safeguarding and regulatory compliance is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach and coordinate instrumental music across Middle and Senior school students.
• Organise and administer the co-curricular Keyboard and Accompaniment Programme across campuses.
• Coordinate rehearsals, scheduling, and repertoire for performances and assemblies.
• Lead and support instrumental staff; coordinate lessons, ensembles and performances.
• Develop and implement a music curriculum aligned with outcomes and examinations.
• Manage budgets for instrument families and resources; liaise with the Head of Co-curricular Music.
• Organise tours, performances, and external opportunities for students.
• Collaborate with other coordinators to offer a coherent whole-programme across instrument families.
