Job summary

Sydney Met is seeking an experienced Domestic Student Recruitment Manager to lead the development and implementation of its domestic student recruitment strategy and support sustainable enrolment growth. The role collaborates with leadership, academic departments and staff to drive initiatives and strengthen external partnerships.

This part-time position focuses on strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and hands-on recruitment activities, ideal for a professional who can work independently

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience in domestic student recruitment, admissions, business development, outreach or related function.
• Strong knowledge of the Australian domestic higher education market.
• Experience with UAC admissions processes and domestic student pathways.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with schools, pathway providers and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive domestic student recruitment strategy aligned with enrolment targets.
• Identify opportunities to increase domestic student awareness, enquiries, applications and enrolments.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity, student preferences and opportunities.
• Establish and maintain relationships with schools, TAFEs, pathway providers, advisers and partners.
• Represent Sydney Met at school visits, expos, information sessions and open days.
• Develop and support targeted recruitment campaigns and communications for domestic audiences.
• Provide advice on admissions pathways and UAC processes.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Admissions and Academic teams to improve the student journey.
