Job summary

The Senior Manager, Strategic Projects at University of Sydney will lead a portfolio of strategic domestic recruitment projects, events and programs to support enrolment and diversity objectives. You will oversee multiple concurrent initiatives, coach staff and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the University.

This fixed-term role requires an experienced people leader who can manage complexity, deliver outcomes on time and within scope, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Substantial experience leading complex programs in a large organisation.
• Proven success coaching and developing teams.
• Highly developed stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong project governance, reporting and risk management experience.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities using data to inform decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for reports and presentations.

• Lead planning, delivery and evaluation of strategic domestic recruitment initiatives.
• Manage portfolio of complex projects and events, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Provide leadership and coaching to professional staff.

• Identify opportunities to enhance recruitment through innovation and data.
• Contribute to strategic planning within Domestic Recruitment portfolio.
• Monitor performance and provide insights for continuous improvement.
