Job summary

St Patrick's Primary School, Macksville invites applications for a part-time temporary Classroom and Learning Support role. The position offers 4 days per week with duties supporting students in classroom settings and in small-group contexts.

Applicants must demonstrate experience with children with special needs (including autism), allergy awareness and EpiPen training, and a commitment to Catholic ethos. NSW Working with Children Check and Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead must be met.

Qualifications

• Must hold NSW Working with Children Check.
• Compliance with Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment.
• Experience supporting students with special needs including autistic spectrum.
• Awareness of needs of students with allergies and training in EpiPen use.
• Experience documenting progress for individual or small groups.
• Willingness to undertake further training in aiding children with special needs.
• Ability to collaborate with teaching staff in classroom environment.
