Job summary

Shift in Sydney is seeking a part-time Credit Analyst to assess commercial loan applications and determine creditworthiness. You will review financial documents, discuss loan options with applicants and brokers, and help manage risk while delivering value to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience with Delegated Lending Authority in commercial or business lending.
• Strong understanding of the SME market.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Experience analysing commercial credit through financial statements and bank statements.
• Analytical mindset with great attention to detail.
• Risk/analytics background is a plus.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to compliance and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess commercial credit applications by analysing financial statements, bank records, and other data.
• Contact applicants and brokers to gather information and discuss loan requirements.
• Deliver accurate credit assessments and recommend lending limits.
• Match customer applications with appropriate products and services.
• Maintain detailed records of risk factors and mitigation strategies.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and brokers.
• Follow underwriting guidelines and maintain data accuracy in systems.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Sales teams to support growth.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency.
