Shift is hiring a Credit Analyst in Australia to review credit applications from customers and brokers, assess financial statements, and determine appropriate lending options within Shift’s risk framework.

You will engage with applicants, brokers, and internal teams to gather information, provide accurate assessments, and recommend lending limits. The role emphasizes compliance, data accuracy, and opportunities for growth in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with delegated lending authority or commercial/business lending is preferred.
• Good understanding of the SME market and lending needs.
• Ability to deliver high-quality customer service and accurate credit assessments.
• Experience analyzing commercial credit via financial statements and bank records.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess commercial credit applications by analyzing financial statements, bank records, and other data.
• Communicate with applicants and brokers to gather information and discuss loan requirements.
• Provide accurate credit assessments and recommend lending limits.
• Match customer applications with appropriate products and services.
• Maintain detailed risk factor records and data in systems to support decisions.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and brokers to support growth.
• Follow underwriting guidelines and comply with standards; ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Sales teams to provide support and mentorship.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
