Job summary

Holloway Aged Care Services in Keilor East, VIC, is seeking a compassionate Lifestyle Coordinator for a part-time role. You will develop and implement engaging activities and social events to promote wellbeing, independence and meaningful participation for residents.

Key responsibilities include planning diverse activities, assessing needs for personalised plans, coordinating events, and maintaining schedules and resources with a focus on dignity and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care or disability services.
• Demonstrated ability to develop engaging activity plans.
• Knowledge of activities promoting wellbeing for older adults.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with residents, families and staff.
• Current First Aid certification preferred or willing to obtain.
• Valid police clearance or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and deliver recreational, cultural, educational and entertainment activities tailored to residents.
• Assess residents' needs to develop personalised activity plans.
• Coordinate social events, outings and celebrations to encourage participation.
• Document participation and feedback to monitor engagement.
• Support residents to maintain family and community connections.
• Maintain activity schedules, equipment and resources safely.
• Promote independence and dignity through wellbeing-focused activities.
