Job summary

Tallangatta Health Service in Tallangatta, Victoria, is seeking a Lifestyle Assistant to join our Consumer Experience team. You will deliver creative, person-centred lifestyle programs and support wellbeing through a range of activities for our consumers.

The role is permanent part-time (3–4 days per week) with negotiable days and hours across Monday to Friday. Remuneration aligns with the Victorian Public Sector agreement 2025–2027.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Leisure & Health or Certificate III/IV in Individual Support (Aged Care) desirable.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in providing Lifestyle activities in an Aged Care setting is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lifestyle programs by facilitating group and individual activities that enhance wellbeing and social connection.
• Plan and coordinate activities, prepare materials, set up environments and support program development.
• Promote person-centred care by listening to consumers and tailoring activities to individual needs.
• Build positive consumer relationships through regular consultation and participation in decision-making.
• Maintain quality and compliance by accurately documenting activities and reporting changes in consumer wellbeing.
