Job summary

St Bede’s Catholic College, Chisholm, NSW, is seeking a 0.2 FTE (12 months) Secondary Mathematics Teacher to commence January 2027.

The successful applicant will teach Mathematics, contribute to faith-based education, and align with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. The role is located in Chisholm, a developing suburb within the Maitland-Newcastle Diocese, with Catholic ethos and a commitment to student wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must hold a four-year trained teacher qualification and be registered with NSW NESA.
• Demonstrated ability to plan compliant teaching programs for Mathematics.
• Experienced in using data to improve student outcomes.
• Committed to Catholic Education and school ethos.

Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics to secondary students.
• Work Monday each week.
