St Bede’s Catholic College, Chisholm is seeking a temporary full-time Secondary English Teacher for a 12-month term starting January 2027. The college, newly established in Chisholm, is a co-educational Catholic secondary school under the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle, currently serving Year 7–12 with high student and staff counts.

The role involves delivering Catholic-focused education, differentiating learning to meet student needs, and implementing contemporary, evidence-based teaching

St Bede’s Catholic College, Chisholm is seeking a temporary full time Secondary English Teacher to join the team for 12 months from January 2027
St Bede’s Catholic College, in the recently established suburb of Chisholm, is a new co-educational Catholic secondary school that is part of the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle.
The College opened in 2018 and will eventually cater for 1,100 students in Years 7 to 12.
Currently, the College has approximately 900 Year 7-12 students.
The key components that drive the development of the school are Courage, Knowledge, Community and Faith.
These components align to the four domains of the College’s Strategic Plan – Catholic Formation and Mission, Learning and Teaching, Leadership, Wellbeing and Partnerships.
