Job summary

St Thomas More Catholic Primary School in Margaret River is seeking a Maintenance and Grounds Person to maintain the school’s buildings, property and grounds to a high standard of safety, functionality and presentation. Qualifications

• Ability to carry out grounds and general maintenance duties to support safe, efficient operation of the school.
• Experience inspecting grounds, buildings and facilities for safety and presentation.
• Capacity to respond to maintenance requests and manage tasks effectively, including use of a ticketing system.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs to buildings, facilities and equipment.
• Maintain school grounds, including lawns, gardens, playgrounds and outdoor learning areas.
• Ensure the school environment is safe, secure and well presented at all times.
• Support WHS requirements, hazard identification and reporting.
• Assist with environmental management and sustainable practices.
• Collaborate with Principal, Leadership Team and Finance Officer on infrastructure planning and maintenance.
