Job summary

Department of Education Victoria, Geelong, invites applications for a part-time 0.5 FTE Business Manager on a family leave replacement. The role operates in a shared arrangement with the 0.6 FTE BM, with one day shared every fortnight to support handover and continuity of school operations.

The successful candidate will manage accounts payable, end-of-month reporting, Compass payments, and facilities records in AIMS while supporting OHS processes and general administration for Highton Primary

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work in an office team and independently within a shared Business Manager arrangement.
• Experience in school administration and financial management systems such as AIMS and Compass.
• Knowledge of financial management legal requirements and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts payable and process payments with documentation.
• Prepare end-of-month financial documentation and reconciliations with the BM.
• Administer Compass payment functions and respond to family enquiries.
• Maintain facilities records in AIMS and coordinate maintenance requests.
• Support occupational health and safety processes and documentation.
• Provide business and administrative support to the Principal and staff.
