Job summary

SMCP Asia Limited in Sydney is seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate to join SANDRO and MAJE stores across Sydney. You will deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales, and represent our Parisian fashion brands with professionalism.

You will welcome customers, offer styling advice, process transactions on POS, maintain knowledge of current collections, and support stock and visual merchandising while upholding store standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in fashion or luxury retail is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong interest in current fashion trends and styling.
• Able to use POS systems and handle sales transactions.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Presentable with attention to store presentation.

About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Part-Time Sales Associates to join our SANDRO and MAJE retail locations across Sydney. This is a part-time position offering a fixed schedule per week. You will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service, driving sales and representing our brands with professionalism and passion. Your contribution will directly impact the customer experience and the success of our stores.

What You'll Be Doing

• Welcoming customers warmly and providing personalised styling advice and product recommendations
• Processing sales transactions efficiently and accurately using retail point-of-sale systems
• Maintaining product knowledge of current collections and communicating key features and benefits to customers
• Keeping the store environment visually appealing by ensuring merchandise is well-displayed, organised and properly stocked
• Assisting with visual merchandising and window displays to attract and engage customers
• Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally and courteously
• Supporting stock management activities, including receiving, checking and pricing merchandise
• Contributing to a positive team atmosphere and supporting colleagues to deliver excellent service
• Adhering to store policies, health and safety procedures and brand guidelines

What We’re Looking For

• Proven retail or customer service experience, ideally within a fashion or luxury retail environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently
• A genuine passion for fashion and an understanding of current trends and style
• Strong numeracy skills and proficiency with point-of-sale systems or similar technology
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required by the role
• Attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards of presentation and service
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when required
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and handle merchandise
• Reliability and punctuality in meeting scheduled shifts
