Job summary

Crown Sydney is seeking a Part-Time Recreation Attendant to join our pool and outdoor spaces team. You will host guests, assist with F&B service, and ensure a smooth, welcoming experience across the pool areas.

Ideal candidates have guest-facing experience, are comfortable outdoors in summer weather, and can commit to 24 hours per week on a rotating 7-day roster. RSA is required or obtainable before start.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests to Crown Sydney Pool area and cabanas.
• Support guest and resident experience across recreation areas.
• Take guest orders and serve food & beverages across upper and lower areas.
• Provide towels, sunscreen and amenities as required.
• Inform guests about Crown Spa facilities and offerings.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented environment for guests and staff.

The role

Featuring two infinity pools, outdoor spaces, a tennis court and a yoga terrace, this role will see you being part of a team that ensures the smooth operations of the food & beverage service for our guests and residents - graciously hosting and offering them the ultimate pool-side experiences.

You’ll be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service moments, enjoy being in the outdoors and thrive in a busy, fast-paced and high-energy environment.

We’re looking for people that can commit to 6-month contracts, from September 2026 - April 2027. You’ll need to be available to commit to a minimum of 24 hours per week across a rotating roster, between the hours of 7.00 am and 9.00 pm. Given the location of the pools and the outdoors environment, you’ll need to be comfortable working in the sun and in summer weather conditions.

You’ll be:

• Greeting and welcoming guests to the Crown Sydney Pool area and cabanas
• Supporting with guest and resident experience across all recreation areas
• Taking guest orders and serving food and beverages across both upper and lower recreation areas
• Offering towels, sunscreen and other amenities to guests as required
• Providing information on the Crown Spa facilities, services and offerings across the property
• Maintaining a safe, clean and well-presented environment for guests and other team members

You’ll bring:

• Experience in a hosting or F&B service related or guest-facing role
• Demonstrated ability to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to commit to a minimum of 24 hours per week, across a 7-day roster, between the hours of 7am and 9 pm
• A current RSA or ability to obtain one prior to commencement
• A level of comfort working in the sun and summer weather conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to multi-task
• Strong attentiveness and ability to anticipate the needs and desires of our guests
