Job summary

National 360 is seeking a PBS Practitioner (Core or Proficient) for a part-time, 12-month parental leave contract in Melbourne. The role focuses on improving the quality of life for NDIS participants through evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support.

The successful candidate will perform FBAs, develop person-centred plans, and provide training to carers while ensuring NDIS guideline compliance and coordination with families and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and current Australian working rights.
• Endorsed at Core or Proficient level under PBS Capability Framework.
• NDIS Commission Letter of Suitability included with the application.
• Experience in community, private, or acute settings preferred.
• Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence required.
• NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children checks.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with participants, families and stakeholders.
• Review guidelines and reduce restrictive practices in line with NDIS.
• Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs).
• Design and implement person-centred Behaviour Support Plans.
• Train carers and support teams to build capacity.
• Collect and analyse data to monitor progress and inform support.
