Job summary

Right at Home Hervey Bay / Maryborough is seeking a caring Personal Care Worker to supply personalised home-based support across Hervey Bay, Maryborough and surrounding areas. You will assist with daily living, mobility and companionship, helping clients maintain independence and dignity in their own homes.

The successful candidate will be compassionate, reliable and professional, able to work independently and within a team, with availability Monday to Friday for 10–20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care such as bathing, showering, grooming and dressing.
• Supporting clients with mobility, hygiene and daily living activities.
• Preparing meals and completing light household duties.
• Providing transport to appointments, shopping and social outings.
• Offering genuine companionship and emotional support.
• Encouraging independence and helping clients to achieve their goals.
• Building positive and respectful relationships with clients and their families.
• Following established care plans, protocols and safety requirements.
• Providing care that protects clients’ comfort, dignity and wellbeing.
