Job summary

Moorvale Earthmoving is seeking a part-time Payroll Administrator to join our team in Mackay region, Queensland. You will work closely with management and the administration team to keep payroll accurate, compliant and running smoothly.

Responsibilities include processing fortnightly payroll, applying the Black Coal Mining Award, managing classifications and leave, handling PAYG and superannuation, and assisting with month-end reporting and Coal LSL where needed.

Qualifications

• Proven payroll experience with Australian legislation.
• Strong understanding of the Black Coal Mining Award and related payroll rules.
• Solid knowledge of payroll software, superannuation and PAYG.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail in processing payroll.

Responsibilities

• Process fortnightly payroll accurately and on time.
• Understand and apply modern awards and conditions.
• Manage classifications, allowances, overtime, penalties and Award conditions.
• Process leave applications and maintain employee records.
• Manage PAYG withholding and superannuation requirements.
• Assist with Coal LSL reporting.
• Assist with end-of-month reporting and reconciliations.
• Provide general finance and administration support.
