Job summary

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is seeking an Assistant Coordinator for our Brookfield State School Helping Hands service to co‑manage a before‑ and after‑school program for children aged 5-12. You will lead a team of Educators on-site, developing engaging activities and ensuring a safe, supportive environment.

This permanent part‑time role offers 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday with split shifts. You’ll work with regional managers, manage rosters, and handle day‑to‑day operations including

Qualifications

• Holds (or is willing to obtain) National Police Check.
• Holds (or is willing to obtain) Working with Children Check.
• Has Australian work rights.
• Completion of National Child Safety Training prior to onboarding (via Gecko)

Responsibilities

• Lead a vibrant before and after‑school program onsite.
• Oversee a team of Educators and manage rosters.
• Develop engaging, child‑centered programs (STEM, sport, art, cooking).
• Manage day‑to‑day operations including compliance and administration.
