Job summary

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is seeking an Assistant Coordinator to co-manage the Brookfield State School Helping Hands OSHC program for children aged 5–12. This permanent part-time role runs 25 hours per week across before and after‑school shifts, with mentorship from regional managers and a supportive office network.

You will lead Educators on site, help roster and operations, and deliver engaging programs—STEM, sport, art and craft—while strengthening relationships with the school, families

Qualifications

• Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check.
• Has Australian work rights.
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko).
• Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
• Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
• Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
• Manage the day‑to‑day operations of your service including compliance and administration
