Responsibilities

• Helps patients by scheduling appointments and maintaining records.
• Welcomes patients and visitors in person or on the phone, answering inquiries.
• Optimizes patients' satisfaction by scheduling appointments efficiently.
• Notifies provider of patient arrival to keep appointments on time.
• Reassures patients by answering questions and maintaining the reception area.
• Maintains patient accounts with accurate personal and financial details.
• Records and collects patient charges to obtain revenue.
• Maintains office inventory and equipment and orders supplies as needed.
• Responds to emergencies to support patients in distress.
• Maintains confidentiality of medical, personal and financial information.
• Follows policies to ensure smooth operations and supports the team.
