Bupa is seeking a Medical Receptionist for casual and part-time roles in Darlinghurst and Pitt St. You will warmly greet patients, handle registrations, and coordinate appointments in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Ideal candidates have GP reception experience and familiarity with Best Practice, delivering confidential, accurate billing and a calm onboarding experience for patients from arrival to departure.

Qualifications

• Must have Medical Reception experience.
• Must meet the availability specified for the desired role.
• Previous GP Medical Receptionist experience is ideal.
• Best Practice experience is advantageous.
• Greet patients and visitors in a professional, friendly manner, ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional, friendly manner, ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure.
• Register new patients and update existing patient information accurately in the clinic's system.
• Hold experience in managing appointment bookings efficiently, coordinating with medical staff to schedule consultations, tests and follow-ups.
• Process payments, health insurance claims, and billing inquiries with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Ensure the reception area is clean, organised, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Monitor inventory and request supplies as needed.
• Demonstrate a high level of teamwork, support and communication with the general practice nursing team.
