Job summary

Chairo Christian School is seeking a Learning Support Coordinator for its Drouin campus to commence in January 2027. The appointment is an ongoing teaching contract with an initial three-year Position of Responsibility.

The role will support secondary students with additional needs and work closely with the Principal, Heads of School and other coordinators. The successful candidate will be an experienced teacher, hold relevant education qualifications and be registered with the Victorian

Qualifications

• Qualified in education and registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
• Experience supporting students with learning support needs in classrooms.
• Knowledge of disability legislation and inclusive education practices.
• Post-graduate qualifications in inclusive education are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality inclusive support for secondary students.
• Collaborate with the Principal, Heads of School and other Learning Support Coordinators.
• Support the development of teaching practices to include diverse learner needs.
