Qualifications

• Active Christian lifestyle and agreement with Chairo’s Statement of Faith.
• Experience working with students with learning support needs in the classroom.
• Knowledge of engaging with teachers to support development of their practice with students with diverse needs.
• Knowledge of disability legislation and current practice.
• Post-graduate qualifications in inclusive education (desirable).
• Ability to build strong partnerships and communication with the school community.

Responsibilities

• Support secondary students with additional needs to access inclusive learning.
• Assist the Principal and Heads of School to coordinate learning support.
• Collaborate with teachers to develop inclusive teaching practices.
