Job summary

Chairo Christian School is seeking a Secondary Physics & Maths Teacher for the Drouin campus, starting January 2027. This is a part-time ongoing role (approximately 0.6 to 0.8 FTE) with potential for additional responsibilities.

The role focuses on delivering Physics and Maths curriculum for Years 9–12 from a Christian worldview, within a caring community. Applicants should be registered with VIT and committed to the school’s faith framework.

Qualifications

• Qualified and registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
• Experience teaching Physics and/or Maths at a VCE level is desirable.
• Ability to teach from a Christian worldview perspective.

• Deliver the curriculum in line with school policies and Christian worldview.
• Foster a safe and caring classroom environment.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Plan and deliver daily activities aligned with school policies and mission.
