Job summary

St Paul’s Junior Campus, Balgowlah, is seeking a passionate Learner Diversity Assistant to support students’ academic, social and emotional development within a faith-filled community. You will work collaboratively with a caring team to provide targeted interventions and inclusive support.

The roles are two temporary part-time positions (42 hours per fortnight) running from 28 January 2027 to 27 January 2028, located at our campus on the Northern Beaches.

Qualifications

• Commitment to safeguarding and child safety in school settings.
• Experience as Learner Diversity Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or Classroom Assistant at Stage 3 level.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience delivering evidence-based interventions such as MacqLit.
• Experience supporting literacy and numeracy and other targeted programs.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and support their development.
• Initiative, flexibility and adaptability to changing classroom needs.
• Collaborative team player with clear communication.
• Experience supporting diverse learning needs and adjustments under teacher direction.
• Accurate record-keeping and progress monitoring.
