Job summary

Programed is seeking a reliable Kitchen Assistant to support our client, a global leader in flavor solutions. Based at Moorabbin Airport, you will help keep the Test Kitchen clean and organized while assisting with basic food preparation and sample service.

You must hold a Food Safety Handling Certificate and bring basic knife skills. The role offers early afternoon hours Tuesday to Thursday with potential for extension in a friendly, safety‑mocused team.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Handling Certificate is required.
• Basic knife skills and food preparation experience preferred.
• Must maintain high cleanliness and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces and work areas.
• Assist with basic food preparation (washing, peeling and chopping vegetables).
• Support food sample preparation, plating and serving.
• Receive, organize and store stock in fridges, freezers and cool rooms.
• Assist with moving and storing equipment and general kitchen duties.
