Gate Gourmet is seeking a reliable Catering Assistant to support our onsite team at a flagship corporate location in Sydney CBD. You will maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation in a busy kitchen and support daily operations.

Ideal candidates have strong attention to detail, good time management, and a basic understanding of food safety. Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia are required. Weekday shifts offer stable hours in a corporate hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a busy kitchen.
• Ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines.
• Previous hospitality or kitchen experience is highly regarded.
• Good time management and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Wash and sanitise crockery, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Sort, stack and store clean items correctly.
• Maintain adequate stock of clean dishes during service periods.
• Clean kitchen appliances, surfaces and floors.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies.
• Dispose of waste and maintain a safe, organised workspace.
• Follow food safety and Work Health & Safety procedures.
