Job summary

Hearty Foods in Warana, QLD is seeking a Kitchen Hand to join our casual kitchen team. You will support food preparation, assist chefs, and help maintain a clean, safe workspace to ensure smooth operations and high standards of hygiene.

Hours are 30–40 per week, Monday to Thursday with no weekends, nights or public holidays. The role offers flexible scheduling and an opportunity to gain practical culinary skills within an established home-delivery business.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking (wash, peel, chop, portion).
• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace.
• Wash and sanitise dishes and kitchen equipment.
• Store food items with proper labelling and rotation.
