Job summary

Bendigo Kangan Institute is seeking an Industry Placement Coordinator to connect students with placement opportunities and manage partnerships with hosts across campuses. Based in Bendigo, this part-time role involves coordinating student matching, scheduling, logistics and compliance, with occasional travel to other sites.

You'll work in our centralised placement team to balance upcoming needs with day-to-day priorities, using InPlace and Placeright to keep records accurate and up to date.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in business or marketing or equivalent experience.
• Experience building industry partnerships and placement opportunities.
• Experience coordinating end-to-end placements, including student matching, compliance and logistics.
• Familiarity with placement management systems.
• Strong attention to data accuracy and documentation.
• Good planning and teamwork in a busy placement environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain industry partnerships and hosts across courses.
• Coordinate end-to-end placements: matching, scheduling, logistics and host communication.
• Ensure placement agreements, documentation and processes meet regulatory and education requirements.
• Maintain accurate placement records using InPlace and Placeright.
• Guide students and industry partners through placement requirements and resolve concerns.
• Use feedback and data to improve processes within the centralised placement team.
