Liquid HR in Western Sydney is seeking an experienced HR Advisor for a part-time, hands-on role supporting an established engineering business (~150 staff).

The role focuses on day-to-day HR delivery, partnering with managers and employees, with external IR/employment law support for complex matters. Flexibility to mix on-site and remote work is available in a 20-hour-per-week arrangement.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Advisor or HR Generalist.
• Solid knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Modern Awards.
• Experience across employee relations, HR administration and recruitment.
• Confident in providing first-level HR guidance to managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary day-to-day HR contact for managers and employees.
• Provide practical advice on general HR matters and employee relations.
• Support managers with performance, attendance and conduct issues.
• Manage HR administration, documentation, policies and processes.
• Prepare employment letters, contracts and position descriptions.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Support compliance with Australian employment legislation and Modern Awards.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Escalate complex ER/IR matters when specialist advice is required.
• Support HR projects and process improvements.
