Sandbrook Medical is a new general practice in Bell Park, VIC, focused on Women's Health and General Practice. We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist with GP reception experience and proficiency in Best Practice software to join our growing team.

You will manage patient appointments, Medicare billing, and patient records, support GPs and staff, and provide a welcoming, professional experience. Flexible part-time hours are available in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous medical reception experience in an Australian general practice.
• Sound knowledge of Medicare billing and general practice workflows.
• Excellent communication, organisational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing patient appointments, enquiries and online bookings.
• Medicare and private billing, including EFTPOS payments.
• Maintaining patient records using Best Practice software.
• Managing referrals, recalls, reminders and correspondence.
• Supporting GPs, nursing staff and the Practice Manager with daily administrative tasks.
• Providing a welcoming and professional experience for patients.
