Job summary

Northern Beaches Hospital, part of the Northern Sydney Local Health District, is seeking a motivated GP Medical Centre Administration Manager on a part-time basis (3 days per week). The role supports the clinical lead with operational direction and business development for the GP Medical Centre.

You will oversee all administrative aspects, including patient attendance and billing for relevant patients, while collaborating with GP staff, the Emergency Department and local primary healthcare

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications or relevant experience managing staff and admin processes.
• Demonstrated experience leading a team to deliver service outcomes.
• Clear verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
• Proven customer service standards and ability to meet expectations.
• Highly organized, takes initiative and works independently.
• Knowledge of NSW Health Admin systems like eMR, PBRC, MS Office, StaffLink, TRIM.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the GP centre and longer-term projects such as re-accreditation.
• Create and manage rosters for administration, nursing and medical practitioners.
• Grow the GP practice and support hospital demand management.
• Provide accurate and timely financial reporting across the medical centre.
