Hotel Indigo Melbourne Little Collins and Holiday Inn Melbourne Bourke Street Mall are seeking a Demi Chef on a part-time basis. Both venues share a single central kitchen in Melbourne's CBD to deliver a variety of dishes for guests across two brands.

You should have a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, be able to lift up to 23 kg, and be flexible for night and weekend shifts. We offer a competitive salary, room discounts, and ongoing training within the IHG family.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Make meals appealing and up to standard for guests.
• Manage supplies and equipment; minimise waste.
• Report unsafe equipment or low stock to supervisor.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear.
• Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards to meet laws.
• Assist with washing up and other kitchen duties.
• Help guests with queries or advice to enhance their experience.
• Represent the team with pride in uniform.
• Take on ad-hoc duties as needed by the team.
