Hotel Indigo Melbourne Little Collins and Holiday Inn Melbourne Bourke Street Mall are hiring a Demi Chef for a part-time role in Melbourne's CBD. You will join a dual-branded kitchen serving both venues, bringing warmth, practical cooking skills and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications include Certificate III in Commercial Cookery; you will work flexible night and weekend shifts, maintain hygiene standards, and support the team with ad-hoc duties.

Qualifications

• Qualified – completed your Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Make each meal a feast for the eyes and taste buds, with your signature flare.
• Own your kitchen – manage supplies and equipment, minimise waste.
• Report unsafe equipment, low supplies or safety incidents to supervisor.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment.
• Maintain high cleanliness and hygiene to meet local laws.
• Assist with washing up and other kitchen duties when needed.
• Assist guests with queries or advice to enhance their experience.
• Wear uniform with pride.
• Take on ad-hoc duties when the team needs to rally.
