2 permanent part-time positions | 30 hrs/week (5 x 6-hour shifts) | Hourly rate per the award, plus early-morning and weekend penalties
Based at our bakery in O'Connor, this is an active, early-morning role with 3am starts. You'll enjoy quiet roads, plenty of movement and the satisfaction of helping our customers start their day with fresh bread.
We supply bread, pies, pastries, scrolls and more to about 50 of Perth's best cafés, restaurants, bars and shops. We have three vehicles on the road, seven days a week: two brand-new Renault vans and a workhorse Hyundai chiller truck.
We're looking for two reliable "bread winners" to join our driving team in permanent part-time roles of 30 hours a week. Each role has a fixed roster of 5 early-morning shifts, starting at 3am and finishing around 9am:
Position 1: Friday to Tuesday
Position 2: Thursday to Monday
It's the same days and the same hours every week, so you can plan your life around it and enjoy your afternoons.
Reliability above everything. Our customers open their doors trusting the bread will be there. Being on time, every time, is the job.
Early mornings are part of the deal. The driving team starts at 3am. Don't let that scare you off: your day is your own by 9am.
A positive, get-it-done attitude. We're a very busy but still small family business, and we all get in and do what's needed. When things go wrong, we find a way to laugh through it and get better tomorrow. When our systems don't work as they should, we fix them so the same thing doesn't happen again.
Previous delivery experience helps but isn't essential. We'll train someone with the right attitude and a safe, responsible approach to driving.
