Job summary

KBR, Inc. in Australia is seeking a part-time Contracts Administrator (0.6 FTE) to support commercial management and delivery of a complex Defence sustainment program.

You will work with the ACS CLCM Commercial Manager providing oversight across head contracts and other agreements, ensuring obligations and performance requirements are met. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with operations, finance, project controls and other stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate contract

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law or Finance is required or demonstrated relevant professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of defence/government commercial management or procurement experience.
• Proven negotiation experience and strong stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of export controls and ITAR compliance is required.
• Familiarity with ASDEFCON contracts or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial and contractual oversight across head contracts and subcontracts.
• Draft notices, claims and contract change proposals per obligations.
• Maintain contract records and amendments with compliance across agreements.
• Support S&Q activities and service requests within contract requirements.
• Manage subcontractor engagement, due diligence and onboarding.
• Negotiate contract variations and purchase orders while managing risk.
• Oversee IP and technical data requirements and performance reviews.
• Offer commercial advice and strategic support across the CLCM team.
• Act as Export Control Officer ensuring ITAR compliance.
• Monitor risks and report to operations, finance and project controls.
