Job summary

Northern Health is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Decision Support team, focusing on coordinating reporting, analytics and data projects to support the Division of Virtual Health. The role requires strong data handling, clinical systems understanding and the ability to present results to stakeholders across the organisation.

The successful candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification, intermediate SQL, PowerBI skills, and experience working with large data sets, data governance, and

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Business, IT, Health Information Management or related field.
Intermediate level SQL and relational database knowledge.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience using PowerBI.
Strong self-management skills to meet timelines and manage priorities.
Understanding of data governance, security and privacy principles.
Minimum 18 months experience in an equivalent role.

Responsibilities

Support project related data requests.
Assist with development and administration of reporting solutions via reporting portal, dashboards and published reports.
Promote data quality awareness by providing education and training and conducting data integrity audits.
