Job summary

Elite Personnel Ltd is seeking a Customer Service Advisor for our client. You will be the main contact for customers, handling enquiries and orders by phone and email, keeping customers updated on stock and deliveries, and maintaining records.

You will collaborate with colleagues across departments to resolve queries efficiently and provide product information. You will also help with delivery queries, returns, invoices and refunds, and prepare paperwork where needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good written English and numeracy.
• Strong attention to detail and administrative accuracy.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.
• Organised with the ability to manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email in a friendly and professional manner.
• Processing customer orders accurately and within agreed timescales.
• Checking stock availability, delivery dates and order requirements, and keeping customers informed.
• Maintaining accurate customer details, order records and supporting documentation.
• Providing product information and referring more complex queries to the right colleague.
• Helping with delivery queries, returns, collections, invoices, credits and refunds as required.
• Preparing order or export paperwork where needed.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to resolve issues and provide cover during busy periods.
