Veolia seeks a Cadet Engineer to join its water team in Woronora 2232. This is a two year, part time opportunity, working three days per week—ideal for gaining practical experience while building your engineering career.

Join a team of experienced engineers to gain hands-on exposure across water and wastewater treatment plants, data analysis, reporting and process improvements while developing essential industry skills and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or recently completed degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Interested in building a career in the water industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Curiosity, initiative and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyse operational data
• Prepare operational, contractual and regulatory reports
• Track compliance and sustainability performance
• Support process investigations, troubleshooting and optimisation
• Assist with plant upgrades and improvement projects
