Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Cadet Engineer to join its water team in Woronora 2232. This is a two year, part time opportunity, working three days per week for gaining practical experience while building your engineering career.

You will work alongside experienced engineers and operate across water and wastewater treatment plants, gaining experience in data analysis, reporting, and improvement projects while developing valuable industry skills.

Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Interest in building a career in the water industry.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Curiosity, initiative and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyse operational data.
• Help prepare operational, contractual and regulatory reports.
• Track compliance and sustainability performance.
• Support process investigations, troubleshooting and optimisation.
• Assist with plant upgrades and improvement projects.
