Job summary

Accountability, a boutique accounting firm in Sydney's CBD, seeks a part-time experienced bookkeeper / client services assistant to join a growing team. The role covers monthly/quarterly IAS & BAS, payroll processing, client software setup and transitions, and proactive, best-practice advisory support for small to mid-sized businesses.

Ideal candidates hold a Certificate 4 in Accounting or Bookkeeping, have extensive MYOB and XERO experience, and display strong communication with high attention

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge and extensive experience using MYOB & XERO software
• Certificate 4 in Accounting or Bookkeeping
• Professional with good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Great attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain clients' accounting software
• Prepare monthly & quarterly IAS & BAS
• Process clients payroll
• Process Superannuation Guarantee obligations
• Set up new clients on Xero or MYOB
• Transition clients onto new software
• Ensure clients meet all statutory deadlines
• Maintain ATO, ABR, ASIC databases
• Assist clients with queries and phone support
• General ad-hoc duties
